ELEHIYA SA DUMALAW MULA SA HIMAGSIKAN

Sine ni Lav Diaz

elehiya

Dedicated to the slain critics, Alexis Tioseco and Nica Bohinc, Diaz has created a film that is shorter than the movies he is known for. The film is divided into three story lines and would constantly show a contrast between the desperate state of the Philippines now and the drastically changing times during the Spanish Revolution of the country. In doing so, the audience is made to ask: what happened to the hopes and dreams of our ancestors who began a revolution and died for the betterment of the country?
